Uli

Uli is originally from India, but migrated to the US for medical school. His last day of medical residency was in south central LA on the day the riots erupted over the Rodney King shooting! He and his family were part of New Life's "restart" in the early 2000s. They then planted churches in Fremont and Foster City before returning to New Life Community Church in 2015. In addition to serving on the leadership team, Uli leads Bible studies, plays drums in the band and occasionally preaches. He is a recently retired emergency room physician and an expert in medical technologies. Uli is also an Elder at New Life which means in addition to looking after the strategic direction and decisions of the church (leadership team) Uli also pays attention to the overall spiritual health of the congregation.
