A few "special" ways to make the season more meaningful.
TIE BLANKET MAKING FOR THE HOMELESS
Join us Sunday November 16, December 7 and December 21 for Blanket making after church. This is a way to express love and care beyond a financial gift to those experiencing housing uncertainty during the holidays. We make blankets for our unhoused neighbors and deliver to the local family shelter.
DECORATING THE CHURCH FOR CHRISTMAS
Join us after worship on November 23rd as we decorate for Christmas. We'll get the big tree out. Put the lights and ornaments on it. Put garland up around the church. Wreaths. All to the sounds of Christmas on the sound system. What a great way to jump into the mood. November 30 is the first Sunday in Advent (anticipation of Christ's coming). But you can join us and get a head start.
WARABE AND NEW LIFE CHILDREN SING IN CHURCH
Join us Sunday December 7 for a chance to enjoy the kids from our Japanese Music and Movement Program and our regular Sunday school as they sing for us. It's also a great chance to show hospitality to all our families by cheering on their children.
KID'S (And their families) CHRISTMAS PARTY
Join us Sunday December 14 from 11:45 (right after church) until about 1:30 for Christmas games, good food and a visit from Mr. or Mrs. Claus!!!
SPECIAL CHRISTMAS BIBLE STUDY
Join us on Wednesday December 17 from 6:30pm - 9pm. Cookies and Christmas Snacks. Cheer. And a much much deeper understanding of the significance of the Christmas story from the unlikeliest of Scripture passages.
CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP AND CAROLING
Join us from 6-7pm on Wednesday night, December 24th to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It is a service of carols and warm hearted meditation.
