Looking for something creative for your child during the afternoons for parent-teacher conference week at McKinley? Look no further. New Life Community Church (2 blocks from McKinley @ Palm and El Camino) is offering a 1:30 - 5:00pm camp February 10-14.
Your child will learn how to create cartoons, make home videos, act, and more. If you would like to sign up your child for his camp, please do so by Feb 5th.
Here's what a typical day will look like.
1:30 PM: Pick up students from McKinley
1:45 PM: Arrive at church, bathroom break, Snacks
2:00 PM: Games and icebreaker activities
2:15 PM: Bible study celebrating the children's creativity as a gift from God (30 minutes)
2:45 PM: Main art activity (varies by day)
4:00 PM: Break and physical activity (Playground?)
4:30 PM: Clean up
4:45-5:15 PM: Parent pick-up

Cost?
The cost for the week is $100 per child. And the camp ages are from 1st through 4th grade.
After signing up, you can provide payment to the church via the website (use the Menu to designate for camp)
Or via Zelle at admin@nlcommunitychurch.org. (Please note "Arts Camp 2025" in the memo line)
Space is LIMITED to 12 children to ensure a high-quality 1/2 day camp and safety for everyone. Brian and other adults interacting with the children have training and have been background checked for safety.
